Victory-class assault carrier, flagship of the Earth Federation Navy, commanded by Fleet Admiral Felix Jager. The Valhalla is one of the few Victory-class ships to have survived the Unification Wars. A few other notable Victory-class ships to have survived were the EFS Gibraltar, EFS Enterprise, AMS Iliad of AMSec, and the LCS Second Endymion of the Luna Commonwealth.

Victory-class ships were incredibly valuable assets to the navies they belonged to. As such, despite their impressive offensive capabilities, they were usually assigned to the rear of formations providing cover fire and fighter escorts for the rest of the fleet. If it had to, a Victory could engage in ship-to-ship combat and could, more often than not, expect to emerge victorious. However, they were difficult to manufacture and costly to maintain, strongly discouraging them from engaging in direct confrontations. Given their high value and the threat the presented, they were often ruthlessly targeted.
